With over two decades of experience in nonprofit service, Sunil has dedicated much of his life to humanitarian efforts. From volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to personally fundraising and delivering aid to families affected by Hurricane Winston in Fiji, Sunil’s commitment to service is deeply personal.
In 2020, alongside Raj Singh, he formally established Hope Foundation Fiji USA to ensure that individual donations directly benefit those in need. His philosophy is simple: help should be transparent, accountable, and delivered with dignity.
After a successful executive career in Fortune 500 companies and consulting, Sunil now focuses his time on philanthropic work. He resides in the San Francisco Peninsula with his wife Ulka and enjoys golf, fishing, and time with family.

Raj’s lifelong involvement in charitable work inspired the creation of Hope Foundation Fiji USA. He has served as President of Shree Ram Mandir in East Palo Alto and continues as a Trustee. He has also co-founded Samaaj Sewa of Fiji USA and participated in numerous humanitarian missions to Fiji.
With a background in banking, real estate, and entrepreneurship, Raj brings financial oversight and operational integrity to the foundation. His commitment ensures that 100% of individual donations are used for beneficiaries.
He resides in Castro Valley with his family and remains actively engaged in community leadership.
JAI KUMAR

Born and raised in the village of Visama, Fiji, Jai understands firsthand the challenges of growing up in poverty. Raised in a farming family without electricity or running water, he developed a deep appreciation for resilience and compassion.
After building a successful business career in Northern California, Jai continued his philanthropic efforts, supporting underprivileged students and disaster-affected families in Fiji.
His lived experience brings authenticity and heart to the foundation’s mission. Jai lives in the San Francisco Peninsula with his wife Rita and enjoys golf, gardening and time with family.
