Our Work in Action
Since 2020, we have worked alongside local communities in Fiji to deliver meaningful support to families, seniors, and children in need.
2025
2025: Expanding Mobility & Joy
Our most impactful year yet saw $14,907 raised. We kicked off the year with a self-funded Awareness Lunch, raising $2,275 for our mission. Significant achievements included:
• Mobility: Donating 30 wheelchairs to hospitals and individuals, restoring independence and dignity to those previously confined to their beds.
• Vision: Distributing 36 pairs of reading glasses to the elderly, allowing them to read and sew once again.
• Outreach: Providing 70 McDonald’s meals to children at St. Christopher’s and Dilkusha Home, turning a simple meal into a day of immense joy.
• Dedicated Giving: Facilitated a major donor-directed gift to Sanjeevani Children's Hospital for continued pediatric care.

2024
2024: Healthcare & Pediatric Care
In 2024, we raised $4,721, directing $3,000 ($6,000+ FJD) to Sanjeevani Children's Hospital. This facility provides life-saving heart surgeries to children across the Pacific entirely free of charge. Our contribution funded essential medical equipment. Additionally, we partnered with Samaaj Sewa to supply hospital linens to the Nausori Health Center and the WOWS Kids Fiji cancer foundation.

2023
2023: Empowering Youth
We raised $1,348 and invested $2,050 into community programs, with board members covering all administrative filings. A major highlight was our $2,000 ($4,160 FJD) investment in Dilkusha Home. In partnership with Samaaj Sewa, we equipped the orphanage with two desktop computers, a six-burner stove/oven, and a washing machine to improve the daily lives of the children in their care.
2022
2022: Supporting Vulnerable Communities
With $1,250 raised and minimal overhead of $236, we focused on institutional support. We delivered essential linens and towels to St. Christopher’s Home in Nakasi—which has cared for over 600 vulnerable children and mothers since its inception—as well as SavuSavu Hospital. We also visited Homes of Hope, providing hygiene products and linens to support their vital work in protecting young women from exploitation and violence.

2021
2021: COVID-19 Relief
In 2021, we raised $8,945. True to our mission, 100% of individual donations went directly to families in need. All operational costs—including state fees, website development, and banking ($1,528)—were fully covered by our board members. We allocated $2,150 ($4,300+ FJD) to partner with local grocers, providing comprehensive food hampers (essentials like flour, rice, dairy, and protein) to 50 families struggling during the pandemic.

2020
2020: Our Foundation
Hope Foundation Fiji USA was established in late 2020, achieving official 501(c)(3) status in September 2021. While the organization is new, our commitment to Fiji began years earlier; notably, we raised $40,000 FJD in 2016 to provide critical relief in the wake of Hurricane Winston.
